Non-urgent advice: Please note

The Travel Clinic service is exclusively available for patients of Bretton Park Healthcare. Any services beyond the provision of the NHS will incur private charges.

Before embarking on international travel, including within Europe, it is crucial to understand potential health risks and take necessary precautions to minimize the chances of health-related issues. Here are key points to consider:

  • Awareness of Destination-Specific Health Risks
Determine if there are any prevalent health risks in your destination country, such as malaria, and take appropriate precautions.
  • Preventive Measures While Abroad
Familiarize yourself with strategies to avoid falling ill while traveling, including vaccinations, hygiene practices, and dietary precautions.
  • Response to Illness Abroad
Understand what steps to take if you become ill while abroad, including accessing medical care and medications in a foreign country.
  • Emergency Medical Treatment
Know how to seek emergency medical treatment when traveling abroad, including contacting local healthcare providers or seeking assistance from embassies or consulates.

Our Travel Clinics offer expert advice on travel-related illnesses and provide a comprehensive range of vaccinations to ensure your health and safety during your travels.

Booking an Appointment in our Travel Clinic

Please be aware that last-minute travel clinic appointments may not be available due to high demand. We strongly advise booking appointments at least six weeks before your travel date, as vaccinations do not offer immediate effective coverage.

To book a travel vaccination appointment, please complete and submit the pre-travel questionnaire available below. Each traveller in your family must submit a separate questionnaire.

After the submission of your questionnaire, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a telephone appointment for a risk assessment. If vaccinations are required, a follow-up appointment will be arranged. Please note that some travel vaccinations may incur charges, and payment will be discussed during the telephone appointment.

If you do not hear from us within 3 days of submitting the form, please contact us through Anima. See link: Anima (animahealth.com).

Please ensure that we have your updated contact details to facilitate communication.
